Second Workshop

The 2nd EIBA EU CatChain Training Workshop aimed to equip PhD students with modern research tools related to Global Value Chains in international business.
The summer school's format included lectures from leading international scholars, methodological workshops, and supervised tutorials, fostering a rich learning environment. Key topics covered included advancements in international business theory, applications, and the critical evaluation of Global Value Chains in various sectors. The school emphasized interactive sessions, group work, and discussions to connect theoretical knowledge with practical research challenges.
The program also provided opportunities for informal networking among participants and invited professors through activities like scientific dinners and field visits, aiming to expand professional networks and discuss future academic and research paths. The event was organized by a local committee from ICEI at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and supported by a scientific committee featuring members from distinguished institutions.
